ABOUT US
Our Academy is an international school, where children of various ethno-cultural backgrounds study. Dance, itself, is a unique phenomenon of international culture. Its language is understood by everyone. The international layer of culture is the dances of the world: Greek, Italian, French, English, Ukrainian, Jewish, Russian, Polish, etc. Our school’s program teaches its students not only how to learn the movements and etudes of these cultures, but also how to stage dance productions.
Special attention is paid to Ukrainian dance as represented in the aesthetics of the world renowned choreographer, Paul Virsky. He was able to unite, in an harmonious way, classical style with folkloric dance. His production “WE ARE FROM UKRAINE” is one of the jewels of world culture.
Our Academy differs from other dance schools in that, as required by an Academy, the instruction is provided only by pedagogues with higher academic ballet education and extensive artistic and professional experience.
Secondly, our Academy combines classical, demi-classical, international and children’s dance genre into one school program.
